Announcing: A Summer in New York

As season 7 comes to a close, it’s time to announce my next undertaking: A Summer in New York.

This will be a mini-season that will run throughout the summer before we launch season 8 in September. What inspired this is that last year while working on The Passport Season I found myself realizing that I had little to no idea what was happening in my city. I often get asked about not just musical recommendations when it comes to New York, but also very general questions that center around “what does it feel like to be there?” This mini-season is my attempt at answering just that. October will mark 16 years of living and working in this city, and when I thought about what I wanted to do next; expressing why this place is so special left me deeply inspired.

So to help with that I’ve recruited 6 incredible artists/groups to chat with me about why we call this place our home. But up now is a new radio broadcast that’s a must-have before you hear those talks. Consider it both your entryway and companion to New York City. This will be the last radio broadcast I’ll be dropping (don’t worry, I’ll be making more music recs for ya in the future) and with that in mind, I went all out on this one. The first summer talk will be dropping on June 25th, until then; welcome to New York.

These radio broadcasts can only be streamed via Spotify. However, full episodes of the podcast (new and old) are available wherever you stream podcasts (Apple, Deezer, you get the point).
