Winter Bonus: Gracie and Rachel

Happy Holidays! This is a special bonus episode before we enter season 2. The incoming winter holidays are going to be hard for so many of us, but it’s so important to remember how remarkable people can be; which is what today’s episode is all about. Meet Gracie and Rachel, two talented musicians from Berkeley, California who’re now based in New York. Their sophomore album, Hello Weakness, You Make Me Stronger, is a reminder of how personal experiences can become the catalyst for art that reaches people on a universal level. The songs of this album are cinematic, lush, creative and invigorating. Lyrically, the album explores how coming to peace with your weaknesses tends to be an internal dialogue; one that you have to eventually exercise within the real world.

Together, Gracie and Rachel do a brilliant job at showing how inspirational New York City can be, even throughout the difficulties of 2020. On this episode, we chat about how their beautiful album came together, what they’ve learned from living together & how their friendship was a shining light throughout 2020.

Once again, happy holidays and I look forward to seeing you all in 2021! Remember that season 2 of the podcast will begin in February 2021. Expect another bonus episode between now and then ;)
