July Talk

I won’t sugarcoat this for you: I fucking love this band. They’re fierce, visceral, wear their hearts on their sleeves and they’ve found a way to give a fuck while not giving a fuck at the same time. It’s a privilege getting to welcome July Talk to the podcast. Throughout the years I’ve gotten to know the band, especially vocalists Leah Fay and Peter Dreimanis. Recently the band made history by playing two large drive-in shows at the Stardust Drive-In Theatre in Sharon, Ontario. The shows challenged what we expect from socially distanced concerts and prove that July Talk are a one of a kind band when it comes to performing. On this episode, we delve deeply into how the shows came to life, as well as explore the stories behind their third album, Pray For It.
