We Are Scientists

Music can serve many functions in our lives, but it can’t be denied that music is at its best when it uplifts us. No, I don’t mean in a holier than thou way, I’m talking about those empty days that turn a corner because you heard the right song. My friends, We Are Scientists, have excelled at this throughout their career and their latest album, Huffy (out now), see’s them achieving that sensation in new ways.

Let's be honest, if there was one color we’d use to describe 2020 (and now 2021), it’d be grey. Huffy asks, what about pink? what about yellow? What about a pure flash of color in your face? The songs off Huffy will make you want to lace up your sneakers and jog out your apartment with your arms stretched out (side note: I love knowing I can type a sentence like that and know most of you live in apartments like me and not houses, LOL). I’ve known Keith and Chris for close to a decade now and this episode of the podcast is an example of how beautiful it can be catching up with your friends. We do chat a lot about their new album, but a good portion of this chat is us just shooting the shit; reminding each other how important it is to have these shared experiences with the people you care about.

The guys will also be touring the UK later this fall, be sure to check out their website for tour dates.

After you hear the episode, be sure to check out We Are Scientists track You've Lost Your Shit on the official New Exchange Playlist. Also, follow We Are Scientists on Spotify, Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter.
