One of the best parts about this modern age is how language barriers barely exist, especially in music. Talent transcends language, especially when the words being sung are dripping with emotion. Celebrated Dutch musician Eefje de Visser is a prime example of this, which has led to her amassing an international audience. Throughout her career she has pushed boundaries with her music, both sonically and lyrically. Her fourth and most recent album, Bitterzoet, features the most dynamic music of her career, with songs full of moments that feel both colossal and intimate, along with a fierce sense of confidence.
