The best entrepreneurs see what’s lacking in the world and from there they attempt to provide a fix. This has been the case with New Orleans native Renaldo Webb, who after graduating from MIT recognized that most pet foods are full of artificial ingredients and preservatives that don’t serve any nutritional value for our furry friends. From there he founded PetPlate, healthy food for dogs that are made with real ingredients and cooked within a human-grade kitchen. What started out as a simple idea has evolved into a fully operational business that’s steadily grown year after year. With PetPlate having delivered over 15 million meals and treats to dogs across the US, Renaldo finds himself focused on how his company can better serve pet parents.

On today’s episode, we chat about the experiences that lead Renaldo to create PetPlate, discuss the realities of running a business based on the betterment of animals and get real about what it’s like to run a business.

Be sure to check out PetPlate’s website for more info and to also give them a follow on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.

Is it possible to feed our dogs food without artificial ingredients and preservatives? PetPlate says yes! On today's episode, I'm joined by PetPlate founder Renaldo Webb, who delves into creating food for dogs with real ingredients and within human-grade kitchens.
